World Day Observation:
21st October is observed every year as the Global Clinical Engineering Day. Global Clinical Engineering Day was started as an initiative to celebrate the essential and life-giving role that clinical engineering professionals play in our society across the globe.
While celebrating this role, we also recognize and promote our professionals and their part in health and patient care in the hospitals. Clinical Engineering is the term given to the development, use, on-going support, and maintenance of technology for diagnosing, aiding or treating patients. It covers a wide range of devices used in healthcare – from simple items like crutches to high end machines like CT scan and MRI machine.
The hospital administration and staff extend our wishes to biomedical engineer and biomedical equipment technicians and deeply appreciates their significant roles in delivering uninterrupted quality services.
