Breast feeding week is observed globally from 1-7 August every year. At ERRH, we have conducted CME for our staff on breastfeeding coinciding with the event.
It is evident that breast milk contains all the nutrients in right quantity for best health of our babies. There is no substitute for it. 6 months of exclusive breast feeding is indispensable. Research has proved beyond doubt that it’s is best for the baby. Initiation of it within 1st hour is extremely crucial for its success. Happy breast feeding week!
